Bangladesh: leather exports increase in the first quarter
From July to September 2023, Bangladeshi leather exports increased by 20.87%, year-over-year, slightly exceeding the strategic target set for the period (by 6.36%)
Brazil: footwear exports through September already exceed 2021's total

All the facts and numbers of the footwear industry in 2021
Last year, production and exports at global level grew by 8.6% and 7.4%, respectively. Worldwide footwear production exceeded the 22 billion pairs threshold but is still below pre-pandemic levels. In 2021, 13 billion pairs were exported worldwide, representing a partial recovery from the drop registered in 2020 but remaining below that of any other year in the last decade
Mexico: footwear exports on track to grow by more than 50% this year
The Mexican footwear industry estimates to export between 32 and 35 million pairs by the end of 2022, which would reflect a growth year-over-year of more than 50%
Pakistan: footwear exports up while leather starts slowly
In the first two months of the current fiscal year, Pakistani leather manufacturers exports declined by 2.41% in value, while footwear exports grew by 20.91%, from the same period last year

Brazil: footwear components exports exceed pre-pandemic levels
In the first seven months of 2022, local footwear components exports totalled 253 million USD, increasing by 20% and 18%, as compared to the same period of 2021 and 2019, respectively
Vietnam: leather and footwear exports on the rise
In the first seven months of 2022, Vietnamese leather and footwear exports were up by 13%, as compared to the same period of last year, reaching 14 billion US dollars
