Vapesol launches recycled nitrile gloves soles
The Portuguese soles manufacturer partnered up with RACLAC, the only producer of nitrile examination gloves in Europe, to create recycled nitrile gloves soles
Vapesol incorporated the residues resulting from the production of gloves into footwear soles to reduce the environmental impact caused by disposable gloves, promoting, this way, a circular economy. "The new technological advance allowed for the first time the industrial manufacture of soles with the addition of nitrile rubber", reinforced Vapesol on its website.
The company came up with this product to help manage the increase of disposable nitrile gloves, which have a complex recycling process, following the COVID-19 pandemic outbreaks experienced since 2020.
