Spanish Footwear Industry

According to the World Footwear 2026 Yearbook (more information available HERE), Spanish footwear production dropped considerably in 2025, but exports decreased only slightly in volume and increased in value, reaching 3.67 billion euros. This suggests Spain’s import and re-export role was reinforced, explaining that imports rose to 5.68 billion US dollars and 365 million pairs. France became the leading export market, and China remained the main supplier.
