Lemon Jelly unveils first knit shoe
The Portuguese brand Lemon Jelly has just expanded its portfolio with the launch of the LJ GLYDE, its first knitted shoe designed for spring and an active lifestyle
Lemon Jelly has introduced its first knitted footwear model, expanding its product range beyond the rubber boots that initially defined the brand.

Founded in 2013, the company has gradually diversified into warm-weather footwear, including sandals and slides, as well as accessories such as bags and socks.

The new LJ GLYDE model features a knitted upper that is designed to adapt to foot movement and provide a lightweight fit, as well as a cushioned insole and a reinforced heel structure that offers added stability.

However, true to its heritage, it retains the brand’s signature lemon scent, strengthening the emotional connection to the product and reinforcing its memorable identity.

This launch marks a further step in the brand’s effort to broaden its offering across seasons. Lemon Jelly said it continues to focus on sustainable production, having adopted vegan-certified materials in 2019 following approval from PETA. Its footwear is primarily made from recyclable materials, with production largely based in Portugal.

The LJ GLYDE model is available in six colours: Light Green, Blue Aura, Cream, Desert, Light Pink and Savage Beige. It can be bought from the company’s online store, as well as from various retailers and multi-brand platforms such as About You and Zalando.
