ARTE and ESIC join forces to develop Spanish fashion retail talent

The Spanish Retail Textile Association (ARTE) and ESIC Corporate Education have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening professional training, recruitment, and talent retention across the fashion retail sector

The Spanish Retail Textile Association (ARTE), which represents major retailers such as Inditex, Primark, Mango and Tendam, has signed a framework agreement with ESIC Corporate Education, the corporate training division of ESIC Business & Marketing School, to enhance talent development within the fashion retail sector.

According to Ana López-Casero, this agreement “represents a strategic step to boost the professionalisation and competitiveness of fashion retail in Spain”. “In a context of transformation in the sector, continuous training is key to facing challenges such as digitalisation, sustainability, omnichannelity, and leadership”, she added.

The two organisations will develop bespoke corporate training programmes focusing on digital transformation, logistics and supply chain management, e-commerce, customer experience, and sustainability. ARTE member companies in particular will receive preferential access to ESIC’s executive programmes, executive master's degrees and specialist seminars, as well as advantageous conditions.

In addition, the partnership includes plans for forums, seminars and discussions on topics such as market trends, European regulations, digitalisation and evolving consumer habits. The partners also aim to connect ESIC students and alumni with job opportunities within the textile industry.
