Amazon to hire 75 000 people
The ecommerce giant is hiring 75 000 employees across fulfilment and transportation. Amazon announced an average starting pay of over 17 US dollars per hour. New hires who show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination receive an additional 100 US dollars

Working at Amazon also comes with an unwavering commitment to safety, especially as we continue to navigate a global pandemic. In addition to the great pay and robust benefits available to new hires starting on their first day, we’re offering a 100 US dollars benefit to new hires who come to Amazon already vaccinated for COVID-19”, commented said Alicia Boler Davis, Vice President of Global Customer Fulfilment at Amazon. 

The Seatle-based company has announced that it is hiring 75 000 people in its fulfilment and logistics network across the US and Canada as it continues to expand its footprint. These open roles offer an average starting pay of over 17 US dollars per hour.
