Timberland launches circular boot
Timberloop Utility Boots are the highlight of the new Fall/Winter 2022 Earthkeepers by RÆBURN collection, designed to be fully disassembled and recycled at the end of their useful life
The newly introduced off-road and outdoor boots are made of durable, high-quality leather, and feature a rugged outsole whose rubber was sourced from trees of responsibly managed forests. They also include a removable stretch-knit sock bootie made from recycled plastic fabric. In addition, the sole construction, which uses fewer chemical binders, enables the outsole to be removed and each part of the boot to be added to its recycling loop by unravelling a seam.

The eco-innovative footwear release was accompanied by the launch of a waterproof and insulated eco-friendly parka, made from 100% recycled cotton, and a selection of T-shirts, hoodies, accessories, and more.

The US-based brand, owned by VF Corp, and the designer Ræburn have been working together since 2019. His eco-friendly thinking became part of Timberland's new releases, as was the case of 2021’s C61 Hiking Boot, with half of the design being made from recycled materials.
