Miguel Vieira in the spotlight in Milan

In an effort to reach a broader audience, the Portuguese fashion designer returned to the Milan Fashion Week runway to present his Spring/Summer 2026 collection
Miguel Vieira returned to the runway at Milan Fashion Week in a show promoted by Portugal Fashion. The designer presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection, ‘A Night in the Garden’, where elegance reigns and everything dresses in black and blooms in the stillness of the night. The monochromatic palette — caviar black, eclipse black, piano black, gardenia white, and optical white — formed the foundation for a show that explored the contrast between structured and fluid shapes.
On the Milanese catwalk, the menswear pieces came to life with black beaded embroidery, creating camellias and calla lilies in leather, evoking a nature reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Accessories such as tasseled shoes, metal mesh necklaces, and woven leather mules added a touch of elegant rebellion, always within a refined sobriety.
In the womenswear proposal — Miguel Vieira’s signature distinctive touch during men’s fashion weeks — the looks suggested movement through satin ribbons crossed over fluid fabrics, in a serene and restrained celebration of femininity. The collection featured materials such as silk, leather, recycled cotton, and pure virgin wool, with prints and fabric manipulations developed in the atelier.
For Miguel Vieira, “showing in Milan is fantastic. It’s an opportunity that positions the brand internationally, providing greater visibility and reach”.
