Inspiramais wraps up with an attendance of over 8 000 visitors

The last edition of Brazil’s leading trade fair for materials attracted a record 8 000-plus buyers and industry professionals from the footwear, apparel, furniture, automotive, décor and jewellery sectors

The 32^nd edition of Inspiramais took place on the 15^th and 16^th of July at the Pro Magno Event Centre in São Paulo. It hosted over 150 exhibitors and attracted more than 8,000 buyers and industry professionals. According to the organisers, this represents a record for the event. The growing internationalisation of the trade fair was also a highlight.

Inspiramais welcomed buyers from Latin America and Europe, 35 of whom were supported by Brazilian Materials, a programme designed to promote the internationalisation of the components industry, run by Assintecal (Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts) in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Overall, the event generated 8 million US dollars of international business.

Returning to São Paulo may have played an important role in the success of this edition. According to Silvana Dilly, Superintendent of Assintecal, “INSPIRAMAIS emphasizes the evolution of materials and the transversality of products developed by our industry. Here, in addition to buyers of materials for footwear, we received a large audience focused on other segments, such as automotive upholstery and even pet products”, she said. This reaffirmed the event’s position as a hub for the Brazilian fashion industry on the global stage.

Inspiramais was organised by Assintecal in partnership with CICB, Abit and Abimóvel. The event was organised by Brazilian Materials and partnered with Sebrae Nacional. The next edition will take place in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, on the 27^th and 28^th of January at the FIERGS Event Centre. The July edition will return to São Paulo from the 28^th to the 29^th of July 2027.
