H&M warns of potential job cuts among UK support staff
The Sweden-based fashion group has informed around 250 of its UK support office employees about a proposed reorganisation and consultation process that could lead to job losses
This consultation is part of organisational changes taking place across H&M’s sales markets and central sales organisation. According to the company, these changes aim to reduce complexity and bring decision-making closer to customers.

H&M clarified to Industry of Fashion that the figure of 250 refers to the number of employees who received the communication, rather than the number of roles expected to be affected. As the process is ongoing, the business is unable to comment on the final outcome.

Only roles at head office level are affected by the consultation, so store roles will not be impacted.
