Hector Muelas is set to take on the role of Louis Vuitton’s Chief Brand Creative Officer on the 1st of November 2026, a position which has been created specifically for him. Muelas’s team will also encompass the art buying division, led by Magena Chansarel, and the content factory, headed by Carole Fuchs”.
“In close collaboration with our business units, regions, and creative talents, Hector will further elevate our brand desirability, ensuring the house continues to set the benchmark in cultural resonance, creative boldness, and emotional connection with our clients worldwide”, Bertrand added.
Muelas first joined LVMH in 2015 as Rimowa’s global vice-president of content, later becoming Chief Brand Officer and leading the luggage brand’s relaunch and international repositioning. He has more than 20 years’ experience in culture, storytelling and brand building, and has held key roles at Apple, Vice Media, Canal+, Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, and Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam.
