Genesco announces CFO transition

The US-based footwear company has announced that its current Chief Financial Officer, Sandra Harris, will leave the company on the 6th of March to pursue other opportunities
However, she will assist with an orderly transition, participating in Genesco’s fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 earnings conference call in early March. She will also continue to support the company as a consultant and principal accounting officer until the company files its fiscal year 2026 Form 10-K on the 25th of March 2026.
Harris joined Genesco in October 2024, bringing with her a background of CFO and finance leadership roles at retail and consumer brands companies, including VF Corporation.
“We thank Sandra for her contributions to Genesco and appreciate her support during this transition. I am confident in the strength of our management and financial leadership team as we continue to execute on Genesco’s long-term growth strategy,” said Mimi E. Vaughn, Genesco’s Chief Executive Officer.
Vaughn will take on the role of CFO on an interim basis from the 6th of March. Meanwhile, the search for a permanent replacement is already underway.
