Bottega Veneta CEO set to step down

Kering, the France-based luxury group that owns Bottega Veneta, has announced that the label’s Chief Executive Officer, Bartolomeo Rongone, will be leaving the group on the 31st of March
“I would like to thank Leo Rongone for his leadership and for the significant contribution he has made to Bottega Veneta over the past six years”, said Luca de Meo, Chief Executive Officer of Kering, in a statement. “During his tenure, he achieved important milestones with his team and supported the continued development of the House. I wish him every success in his future professional endeavors”.
Bartolomeo Rongone was appointed CEO of Bottega Veneta in 2019. During his tenure, he guided the brand through key creative transitions with Daniel Lee, Matthieu Blazy and, most recently, Louise Trotter. Throughout this period, he contributed to the growth of the House. Most recently, in the third quarter of 2025, Bottega Veneta was a highlight for Kering, with revenue up by 3%, while other brands were facing losses.
Kering has announced that the selection process for the next CEO is underway and that the new CEO will be appointed soon. In the meantime, the management team will oversee Bottega Veneta. It has also been confirmed that Rongone will take on the role of Group CEO at Moncler, effective from the 1st of April.
