Alameda Turquesa arrives at The Devil Wears Prada
The Portuguese luxury brand Alameda Turquesa has reached a new milestone, with its handbags featuring in the film The Devil Wears Prada 2. This appearance further strengthens the brand’s international presence
The pieces were selected as part of the production process and sent directly to the film’s team, later being incorporated into one of the movie’s scenes.

Behind the scenes, the connection to the brand went even further: according to the team involved, Alameda Turquesa’s mules were worn continuously throughout filming, generating such enthusiasm that cast members requested to keep the brand’s pieces after production wrapped.

“It is a journey built on hard work and creativity. Knowing that our pieces were part of the daily life of a production of this scale – an iconic universe that was so meaningful to me and to an entire generation that watched the first film twenty years ago – and then being able, years later, to see our brand featured in the second film, is something very special for us”, says Carolina Santos.

This recognition follows the brand’s presence in two seasons of the hit series Emily in Paris, where the character Emily wore Alameda Turquesa shoes and handbags, further strengthening the brand’s international visibility among a global audience. Earlier this year, in March, the brand also presented an exclusive pop-up at the Ritz Paris, consolidating its position within the international luxury segment.

Founded by Ana and Carolina Santos, Alameda Turquesa has built a solid trajectory and is currently present in luxury stores across multiple markets, from the United States to Gulf countries. The brand has also been chosen by major international names such as Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Cindy Crawford, and Kylie Jenner, among others.
