US consumption declines by 16%
US-based NPD is monitoring the consumption in the country and has concluded the decline in the week terminating on the 21st of March reached two digits rates
According to the NPD group, US dollars sales of general merchandise declined by 16% in the third week of March (week ending on the 21st of March) as retailers across the country ceased operations and as the outbreak of Covid-19 intensified.
