Wolverine Worldwide launches junior board

The recently launched junior board – selected following an extensive interview process assessing their leadership potential, commitment to the company’s vision and values, strategic orientation, communication and relationship-building skills, and critical thinking abilities – will meet monthly to discuss several issues and establish a dynamic feedback loop designed to encourage positive change and progress.
The junior board will collaborate closely with the company’s executive team and chief executive officer, Chris Hufnagel.
“I am immensely proud of the new culture we are building at Wolverine Worldwide”, he said. “With the creation of our Junior Board, we’re doubling down on our commitment to developing young talent and fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive – while building a strong leadership pipeline for tomorrow”.
The group comprises Chandler Alberda (Digital Marketing Manager at Merrell and Junior Board Chair), Blake Robinson (Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at Work Group), Cleo Hallan (Lead Digital Product Manager at D&TE); Edith Rimmer (Retail Operations Coordinator at Sweaty Betty); Heather Telford (Human Resources Business Partner Manager at Shared Services); Joe Gamino-Kirkhoff (Senior Brand Marketing Specialist at Merrell); Liony Florentina (Strategic Costing Senior Analyst at Supply Chain); Lucy Howard (Field Marketing Lead at Saucony); Ricky Hajduk (Key Accounts Manager at Merrell); Teddy Okerstrom (User Experience Research Manager at D&T); and Tobias Kammerer (Color Designer at Merrell).
The creation of this advisory board follows the company’s acceptance of its first Great Place to Work Certification, which highlighted its dedication to prioritising the employee experience and fostering a robust company culture.
