Under Armour announces executive leadership changes

As part of its transformation strategy, the Baltimore-based sportswear company has appointed Kara Trent as Chief Merchandising Officer and Adam Peake as President of the Americas
Kara Trent has been appointed Chief Merchandising Officer. In this role, she will oversee category management and go-to-market initiatives, with the aim of optimising product assortments, improving SKU productivity and driving revenue and margin performance. She has 24 years of industry experience in buying, planning, merchandising and regional leadership, having previously served as President of the Americas region and Managing Director of the EMEA region.
Adam Peake has also been appointed President of the Americas, where he will lead the company’s business across North and South America. He will oversee marketplace strategy, distribution and omni-channel growth, drawing on his experience of over 25 years in leadership roles, including 16 years at Under Armour in senior cross-functional positions.
These changes, which take effect on the 2nd of February, are aimed at supporting the company’s transformation by strengthening execution and aligning leadership to drive sustainable growth and financial performance.

Additionally, Yassine Saidi will transition to a senior advisory role focusing on design expression and creative continuity. Since joining Under Armour in 2024, Saidi has played a key role in evolving the brand’s design language and aesthetic sensibility, and in enhancing performance expression across products and platforms.
