With more than 30 years of experience, the Portugal-based footwear brand is focused on comfort shoes and sells its products all over the world
For Ricap the mission and vision of their business is clear: "To ensure customer satisfaction by producing comfortable quality footwear and as a result to become a world reference as a Portuguese manufacturer of comfortable shoes".

The statement says it all. But he brand has an history deeper than that, dating back to 1984 when its founder, taking advantage of his experience within the footwear industry, decided to risk and establish his own company.

The first factory of the company was a pavilion with roughly 200 square metres and employed 6 people who were dedicated to produce about 60 pairs of shoes per day. The production of the company was mainly focused in the the domestic market.

Over time, the facilities have undergone several expansions and nowadays total about 2 000 square metres, having increased its number of employees and production capacity. This resulted in the expansion of the brand to foreign markets. The brand has continued to evolve and began to dedicate itself almost entirely to the international market and nowadays Ricap Shoes are shipped to all over the world.
