Next UITIC Congress to focus on sustainability and innovation

The 21st edition of the UITIC Congress, which will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of September 2023 in Milan and Vigevano, will address the relation between sustainability and innovation

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC), which is organizing the event with the support of the National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leather Goods and Tanning Technologies (ASSOMAC), has announced that the main topic of the congress will be “Innovation & Sustainability - Moving Towards Sustainability Through Innovation”.

The organization also updated the previous information on the agenda for this 21^st International Technical Footwear Congress. Visitors will be offered the option of taking part in the event one day earlier, on the 19^th, with planned visits to factories and companies in the areas of Milan and Vigevano.

Then, on the 20^th, included in the Congress package is a visit to the Simac Tanning Tech trade fair. The International Exhibition of Machines and Technologies for Footwear, Leather Goods and Tanning Industries is due to be held from the 19^th to the 21^st of September at Fiera Milano Rho. At last, on the two following days, a series of conferences and networking opportunities will take place at the NH Milano Congress Centre.
