New EMEA Director for Havaianas
Alpargatas, the owner of the Havaianas brand, appointed Scott Ziegler the brand's new Retail Director for the EMEA region
Scott Ziegler, a veteran with over 20 years of experience in companies like VF Corporation, Columbia Sportswear, Adidas and Foot Locker, has been appointed as Havaianas’ new Retail Director for the EMEA region.

Ziegler will be responsible for the 170 points of sale Havaianas owns in the region, including own mono-brand stores, franchisees and concessions.

Founded in 1966, the Brazilian flip-flop brand is owned by Alpargatas, one of the biggest footwear companies in Latin America. The brand can be found in more than 100 countries and owns roughly 600 stores around the world.
Havaianas' parent company, closed the fiscal year 2018 with sales of 3.9 billion reais (894 million euros), up by 4.9% over the previous year. The company also owns the brands Topper, Rueda and licenses Japonese brand Mizuno in Brazil.
