Golden Goose welcomes Bizzarri to the board at a time of strong momentum
Former Gucci president and CEO Marco Bizzarri joins the board of the Italian luxury sneaker company as sales continue to grow, driven by strong performance across all regions

This announcement comes at a time of strong momentum for the group, which is taking steps towards an initial public offering amid continued sales growth.
In the first quarter of 2024, Golden Goose reported a revenue of 148 million euros, an increase of 11%, or 12% at constant exchange rates, over the same period of last year. In this period, sales in the direct-to-consumer channel grew by 18%, or 20% at constant exchange rates, as compared to the first quarter of 2023, driven by continued strong performance in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Americas.
Last year, the Italy-based company opened 21 stores, bringing its total global store network to 191, and ended the year with sales of 587 million euros, up by 18% from 500.9 million euros in the previous year.
