Authentic partners with Orbico to expand Dockers across Europe

Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) has signed a long-term partnership with Orbico Group to expand the Dockers brand across Europe, including in markets such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, the UK
Following Authentic’s acquisition of Dockers from Levi Strauss & Co in May, the company has announced a partnership with the European distributor Orbico to expand the Dockers brand across Europe. Under the agreement, Orbico will oversee the production and design of key product categories, including sportswear, activewear, socks and hosiery, lifestyle and performance footwear, outerwear, bags and swimwear for men and women.
“Partnering with Orbico allows us to bring Dockers to a key market while maintaining the brand’s authentic heritage”, said Henry Stupp, President, Lifestyle & Entertainment EMEAI at Authentic, highlighting that this deal builds on the successful partnership already established with the Champion brand across EMEA.
Similarly, Edward Malky, CBO at Orbico, added that “this partnership marks an important step in deepening Orbico’s relationship with Authentic and reinforcing our leadership in brand distribution across the region”. “Dockers holds strong equity and recognition among European consumers, and together we will focus on maximizing its potential through strategic channel expansion and localized brand execution”, he added.
Founded in 1986, Dockers has been a staple of American style for more than three decades. It has also held a meaningful presence across Europe during this time, earning a loyal following thanks to its legacy of quality and wearability. Under Authentic’s ownership, the brand “is embarking on a renewed global strategy focused on long-term value creation”, supported by the “proven expertise of existing licensing partners within its global ecosystem”.
