Lineapelle 108 welcomes 22,800 visitors

The 108th edition of Lineapelle welcomed 22,800 visitors, representing a 10% increase compared to last year’s September edition. International visitors accounted for 43% of the total attendees

The last edition of the international leather and materials industry fair for fashion, luxury and design, which took place from the 15^thto the 17^th of September 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho in Italy, closed with positive numbers.

The final figures show that the event hosted 1,029 exhibitors and welcomed 22,800 professional visitors, including over 17,000 buyers. Of these, 43% came from abroad, representing 114 countries. This represented a 10% increase in attendance compared to the September 2025 edition.

According to the organisation, “This result is particularly significant in light of an economic and commercial environment that continues to require the supply chain to exercise caution, demonstrate responsiveness and seek new perspectives”.

Although Lineapelle reflected the challenges facing the global leather and materials supply chain, the organisers also identified signs of improving market sentiment in 2026. Against this backdrop, the fair emphasised the importance of maintaining industry relationships and preparing for ongoing sector-wide changes.

These changes were also the focus of the three-day programme of events, presentations and talks at the fair, which explored issues including innovation, sustainability, technology, education, and emerging market trends.

There was also a 21% increase in the number of exhibitors and a 35% increase in attendance compared to the February edition the previous year, following the disruption caused by the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

The next edition, dedicated to the Summer 2028 season, will take place from the 23^rd to the 25^th of February 2027.
