Kering appoints Gianfranco D’Attis as CEO of Alexander McQueen

The France-based luxury group has appointed Gianfranco D’Attis as Chief Executive Officer of Alexander McQueen. He was most recently CEO at Prada
As head of Alexander McQueen, D’Attis is expected to oversee the next stage of the company’s development, focusing on strengthening the brand, improving execution and enhancing financial performance.
He has more than 25 years of international experience in the luxury industry. He most recently served as CEO at Prada, where he strengthened brand desirability and drove growth by taking a more client-centric and disciplined approach. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at LVMH and Richemont in Asia, the Americas and Europe.
D’Attis will report to Luca de Meo, CEO of Kering. “He brings a powerful combination of strategic vision, operational rigor and deep luxury expertise. His ability to sharpen brand identity while driving disciplined execution will be critical as we refocus Alexander McQueen and unlock its full potential”, de Meo said.
Kering announced that Gianfilippo Testa has decided to leave the Group later this year and expressed its gratitude for his contributions over the years.
