Golden Goose appoints new Chief Consumer Officer

The Italy-based luxury sneaker company has appointed Giorgio Belloli as Chief Consumer Officer. He succeeds Danilo Piarulli, who left the company earlier this year
Giorgio Belloli has been appointed Chief Consumer Officer at Golden Goose, bringing with him nearly three decades of experience in the luxury fashion industry. He served as Chief Digital, Customer and Innovation Officer at Burberry for the past three years, and prior to that he spent a decade at Farfetch, joining the company in 2013. He has also held leadership roles at Kering and the Prada Group.
He succeeds Danilo Piarulli, who left Golden Goose this year after 13 years with the company to become chief executive officer of Autry earlier this year.
At the sneaker brand, Belloli has been tasked with further developing consumer relationship management and digital and physical channels, as well as the strategy for connecting all sales channels. He will also be expanding the concept of co-creation and taking an experiential approach to stores.
Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose, said he found in Giorgio Belloli “the right person” to support him in leading the company’s shift “from a global product brand into a cultural brand, with a strong emphasis on people and communities”.
“With his experience, he will evolve our omnichannel strategy toward omnipresence. In his new role as chief consumer officer, Giorgio will scale co-creation and make our stores even more experiential for consumers”, he concluded. The brand operates 230 stores globally, including recently opened units in Athens, Rome and Istanbul.
Belloli is joining Golden Goose at a time when the company is reporting strong results. In the first half of 2026, the brand generated 380.4 million euros in revenue, a 15% increase on the same period last year. Second-quarter revenue alone rose by 19%. Direct-to-consumer sales grew particularly strongly during the period, increasing by 22% year-on-year.
