Gallery with merged formats in 2021
The Germany-held trade fairs have announced the dates for 2021 and confirmed the merged formats, which were successfully tried in 2020, will continue
Last August, due to COVID-19 driven constraints, the organizers have decided to jointly carry out the Gallery Fashion - whose editions usually take place in January and July - and Gallery Shoes - whose editions take place in March and late August.
According to the organisers, the special format with the joint presentation for fashion, shoes and accessories at the same time was positively received by the industry and so in 2021, a decision was made to transfer the format to the four usual trade fair dates per year – but with the respective weighting per date (January & July for FASHION and March & September for SHOES).
Saying this, by the end of January the fashion word will gather in Dusseldorf for the edition of Fashion & Shoes (30th January -1st February) and later in March the same place will welcome Shoes & Fashion (7th-9th March).
