French hides and skins organisation changes name
The French Hides & Skins Association (Syndicat Général des Cuirs et Peaux) has changed its denomination to French Hides & Skins Federation (Fédération Française des Cuirs et Peaux)
According to the federation, which was created in 1948, the name change shows the organisation’s “positive dynamism and the continuing involvement of itself and its members in innovation and other challenges in the leather industry".
