Brands
In the second quarter of the current financial year, the Havaianas brand generated total net sales of 1.22 billion Brazilian reais (234.0 million US dollars). This figure represents an 11.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025 and was driven by growth in both its domestic and international operations.During the period, the brand sold 45.6 million pairs in Brazil, an 8.6% year-on-year increase, with net sales rising by 16.7% to 809.2 million Brazilian reais (155.1 million US dollars). Alpargatas emphasised that the international growth reflects the “successful execution” of higher seasonality in Europe, as well as a strong performance in Latin America and Asia during this period. In the United States, the volume of Havaianas sold declined by 30% while the company transitioned to a new distribution model. However, there was a 40% year-on-year increase during the first six months of 2026.
In the second quarter of 2026, Rothy’s recorded net sales of 61 million US dollars (11.7 million US dollars), which was a 3% year-on-year decrease. This was explained by a retraction in e-commerce sales volume.
