Aldo to continue investing in the Gulf region
The Canada-based shoe company Aldo will continue to invest in the Gulf region where it has a network of 185 stores
In 2017 the footwear company already opened 7 stores in the region, taking advantage of strong momentum in terms of brand awareness. The GCC countries, which includes the Gulf monarchies of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, are now under the list for investments of the Aldo brand.

Aldo has a network of 185 stores in the region, with almost 100 located in the UAE, making this a key market for the brand. Also is aiming to reinforce is distribution network using a omni channel strategy, investing not only on brick and mortar, but also looking for online partnerships to act in the region.  Currently, Aldo partners with local shopping portals like namshi.com, souq.com, noon.com, 6thstreet to sell its products in the UAE.
