The world’s most expensive shoe unveiled in Dubai
Dubai was the place chosen to unveil the world's most expensive shoes with a total value of 73 million United Arab Emirates Dirham, roughly 20 million US dollars
The Moon Star shoes, featuring 30 carats worth of diamonds and pieces of meteorite, were unveiled at the Dubai Marina as part of MIDE (Made in Italy, Designed in Emirates) Fashion Week. Diamond shoes are not a premiere, but the small piece of meteorite the Moon Star shoes feature are and explain the astronomic price of the shoes.
The man behind the shoes is Antonio Vietri, the Italian designer known for having created the world's first 24K gold shoes back in 2017.
