Stuart Weitzman appoints new Creative Director
Famous footwear brand has appointed Giovanni Morelli as new Creative Director. He will take over from the founder of the brand, Stuart Weitzman, from May 2017 onwards
Mr. Morelli will report to Wendy Kahn, who is taking over as CEO and President of the Coach-owned brand in September 2016.
The new Creative Director for the luxury brand footwear brand will bring along to the design house an extensive career of 25 years, having worked for Prada, Burberry and Marc Jacobs and Loewe.
“Giovanni has garnered worldwide recognition designing iconic accessories for several European and American fashion brands,” commented Coach CEO, Victor Luis, while praising its “extensive luxury brand”.
Stuart Weitzman will become Chairman of the company.
