Soles4Souls acquires Erren Recondition

The Nashville-based non-profit organisation Soles4Souls has acquired a European footwear and apparel reconditioning company with the aim of expanding its global circular solutions capabilities
In general, the aim of this acquisition is to improve Soles4Souls’ ability to help brands and retailers extend the life of products, reduce waste, and create economic opportunities through scalable circular solutions.
“Erren has spent years building a reputation for quality, innovation and reliability in circular reconditioning. Combining their expertise with our global mission allows us to create even more impactful solutions – helping partners reduce waste, deepen sustainability commitments and create lasting economic opportunity”, said Buddy Teaster, President & CEO of Soles4Souls.
Founded in 1980, the Netherlands-based Erren Reconditioning specialises in preparing products for the market. Its services include sorting, cleaning, repairing, finishing, label corrections, quality control and packaging. These services help companies avoid product destruction while creating economic and environmental value.
Therefore, by leveraging its global network and impact expertise with the technical reconditioning leadership of Erren, Soles4Souls will be able to establish an integrated platform that keeps products in use for longer while delivering measurable environmental and social outcomes.
Erren Recondition will continue to operate in continental Europe under the name “Erren Recondition, a Soles4Souls company”. Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom and United States, Soles4Souls will leverage its expertise to enhance its capacity for delivering circular solutions via a unified global platform.
