Shoe Carnival confirms name change to Shoe Station Group
The US-based footwear retailer has announced that it has received shareholder approval to change its name to Shoe Station Group. The ticker symbol will change accordingly
Having received shareholder approval, Shoe Carnival will change its name to Shoe Station Group with effect from today. In connection with this, the company's ordinary shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq stock market under the symbol ‘SHOE’ on Friday. The decision was first announced in November 2025.
“We are pleased our shareholders overwhelmingly approved changing our corporate name to Shoe Station Group, Inc. The new name and new ticker are reflective of our multi-banner strategy with Shoe Station as our primary long-term growth vehicle and Shoe Carnival continuing in markets where it is dominant”, said Cliff Sifford, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.
Cliff Sifford added, “We will also seek to expand our business through strategic acquisitions of other footwear retailers”.
