Sam and Libby Edelman presented with the Footwear News Lifetime Achievement Award
The founders of the Caleres-owned footwear brand Sam Edelman were honoured at the last edition of the Footwear News Achievement Awards (FNAAs) with the Lifetime Achievement Award
“I’m really thrilled that Sam and Libby are being honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award. It is truly deserved as they have dedicated the majority of their lives to continuously creating dynamic footwear that women love”, remarked President and CEO of Caleres, Jay Schmidt.
Organised by Footwear News, the FNNAs are a 37-year celebration of footwear industry leaders who have creatively defined the industry, providing fresh perspectives. This year’s edition took place on the 28th of November at Cipriani South Street in New York City.
“As they celebrate 20 years with their Sam Edelman brand next year, they remain leaders in the global fashion footwear market, with more excitement and growth to come. I can speak on behalf of everyone at Caleres in saying that Sam and Libby’s creativity, passion and connection to their consumer continually inspires us”, concluded Schmidt.
