Nobrand Superlova, the snearkers with light on the soles

Aug 27, 2015 Portugal
The Portugal-based footwear company just announced a new line of innovative sneakers

The new models, unisex, were presented by the brand as a synergy between fashion and technology. The Superlova sneakers are made of leather and have a 100% natural lining of cow skin and a transparent sole with an added feature: they can give light. The sneakers include a button that can be used to choose from three possible states: lights on, flashing or off, with battery charged using a USB cable.

Available in black and white and with a cost of 250 euros, the new model is on pre-sale at the online store. The Nobrand Superlova will hit the stores in September.

Founded in 1988, Nobrand is an international brand with almost 1 300 points of sale. Europe continues to absorb the bulk of their production, but new markets are gaining importance. Outside the EU, China is becoming a winning bet, with the brand currently available in more than 30 countries and aiming to further expand.

The company employs 120 employees, producing an average of 2 500 pairs of shoes per day, and has an annual turnover of 65 million euros.
