Nike announced the retail price of its model HyperAdapt 1.0, the self-lacing model inspired by the 1985 movie Back to the Future Part II
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 in Black/White-Blue Lagoon will be available at the Nike Soho store and the Nike+ ClubHouse at 45 Grand Street in New York from the 1st of December. Later in the month, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, in both Black/White-Blue Lagoon and Metallic Silver/Black-White colorways, will become available through the Nike+ App and select Nike doors in the US.

The shoes feature a sensor under the midfoot that automatically tightens the system when a foot is placed in the shoe. Buttons on the side of the sneakers tighten or loosen for a customized fit.

Information regarding the booking of appointments for experience and purchase of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available on Nike.com and the Nike+ App.
