Mango to open 45 new stores in France by 2028

The Spain-based fashion retailer will invest 66 million euros in France between 2026 and 2028, opening 45 new stores. France is Mango’s leading international market
The announcement was made at the 2026 Choose France Summit. Over the next three years, the fashion retailer will invest 66 million euros in opening 45 new stores. This investment demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the French market, in which it opened its first store in 1994.
According to the statement, the plan foresees the opening of 15 new stores per year, each creating around 15 jobs. These openings will be distributed between large, small, and medium-sized cities, representing Mango’s s debut in 10 of them.
“This investment will continue to generate local employment, as well as support the company’s omnichannel strategy by driving the expansion and improvement of its commercial network combining a strong physical presence with digital and phygital solutions to enhance the customer experience”, reads the statement.
France is Mango’s largest international market. Since entering the country in the 90s, it has expanded to encompass more than 250 stores across over 170 cities, with a combination of flagship locations and strong regional coverage, as well as a growing online presence.
