Jonathan Anderson takes over Dior menswear helm
Jonathan Anderson has been appointed artistic director of Dior's menswear line, the house has confirmed. He succeeds Kim Jones, who stepped down in January
The former Loewe designer was confirmed as artistic director of Dior menswear, after LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault announced at the conglomerate’s annual general meeting that he would design the next show of the house.

“Christian Dior Couture announces the appointment of Jonathan Anderson as artistic director of men’s collections. Anderson is working on the Dior Homme Summer 2026 collection, which he will present in Paris on June 27, 2025, at 2:30 pm”, Dior confirmed.

Anderson was appointed creative director of LVMH-owned Loewe in September 2013 at the age of 29. He had previously founded his eponymous JW Anderson brand in 2008, in which LVMH acquired a minority stake in 2013.

Under his tenure, Loewe has become one of the hottest fashion brands in luxury, with sales rising from around 230 million euros in 2014 to between 1.5 billion and 2 billion euros by 2024 (voguebusiness.com). His departure was announced in March, and industry sources say he has been quietly building a team at Dior for months.

He was replaced at Loewe by Proenza Schouler founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
