The 8th Global Footwear Sustainability Summit, focusing on the sustainability theme within the footwear business, was organized by Shanghai Copex Global and took place in Shanghai
In its 8th edition, the Global Footwear Sustainability Summit worked closely with all the parties involved in shoe manufacturing, textiles, brand, environment and other industrial ecosystems from global footwear industry by interpreting the opportunities and challenges for global footwear production capacity transfer and China’s footwear industry to brand transformation in the context of the current political landscapes.
The conference was also an opportunity to share practical cases and experiences of sustainable development, including technological innovation, material innovation, employee production safety and environmental protection, so as to help enterprises promote and enforce corporate social responsibility. In this context, companies such as ASICS, New Balance, NIKE, Cosmo, PFI, EMMA Group, CDP, Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production, WWF, ZDHC, Huaping EDtech, Huafon New Materials, Red Dragonfly and IPSOS have shared their own experiences.
The summit extended the concept of sustainability to retail and on the third day of the conference, retail industry experts and leaders were invited to share their discussion around the topics related to the Trend of Retail Operation and How does the reaction mechanism of super-intelligent supply chain respond to retail demand and more.
