H&M to reopen stores in Ukraine
The Sweden-based fashion group announced that has been in talks with Ukrainian partners and authorities to gradually reopen most of its stores in the country from November
The group had temporarily closed its stores in Ukraine as of the 24th of February 2022, following Russia's invasion of the country. In a statement, H&M stressed that while preparations continue to be made to reopen most of its stores whenever possible, “the safety of colleagues and customers will always be the first and foremost priority”.

The company added that alongside the previous donations to support the Ukrainian people, it intends to partner with organisations on the ground to engage in relief and rebuilding programmes.

The announcement comes amid news that the Spanish-based fashion group Inditex is also planning to reopen some stores in Ukraine during the fall.
