The company was founded in 1946 by Armando Luis da Silva in a small footwear workshop, using a very manual and craft system of production based on a team of 12 workers.

In 1968 the company moved premises to a larger area, acquired modern machinery and by then the number of workers was close to 30.

With time Armando Silva implemented a series of changes at management and manufacturing level, aiming to improve its performance. The company started to be present in the main international trade fairs and initiated a consistent internationalization process, while focusing on fashion trends and strict quality control.
