Futurmoda returns with focus on materials and trends

The next edition of the Spanish trade fair, scheduled for mid-October 2025, will offer greater visibility to materials and innovations shaping the autumn-winter 2025-2026 season
The 54th edition of Futurmoda, the international fair for components, leather, textiles, and chemicals for footwear and leather goods, will take place on October 15-16, 2025, at the IFA-Fira Alacant in Elche, Spain. The trade fair plans to bring together more than 300 exhibiting firms from Spain, Italy, Portugal, France and other countries, demonstrating its position as a key meeting point for the European footwear supply chain.
Covering an exhibition area of over 12,000 square metres, the fair expects to welcome more than 7,000 industry professionals interested in the latest innovations and trends for the autumn-winter 2025-2026 season. Exhibitors will present a wide variety of products, including accessories, components, tanned leather, fabrics and chemicals. In contrast to the 53rd edition, machinery will not be featured in this edition to provide greater visibility to materials and components.
Sustainability will once again be at the forefront through the Futurmoda Green Planet initiative, an exhibition area dedicated to eco-friendly, recycled and biodegradable materials, as well as environmentally responsible processes. This space has become a benchmark for companies seeking to align with the growing demand for sustainable solutions in the footwear and leather industries.
Beyond its exhibition offer, Futurmoda will enhance networking spaces, dining areas and the Expert Forum, encouraging knowledge exchange and collaboration. These features aim to support business development and highlight the fair’s role as both a commercial and innovation platform for the footwear and leather goods sectors.
