Footwear brands return to the catwalk at Portugal Fashion
During the 38th edition of the fashion show, 6 footwear brands representing one of the most dynamic industries in the country were under the spotlight. Dkode, Fly London, JJ Heitor, J. Reinaldo, Nobrand and Ambitious presented the latest trends
The latest edition represented one of the biggest shows ever organised by Portugal Fashion, an event that celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. The 38th Portugal Fashion autumn/winter 2016-17 presented 37 fashion shows: 21 designer collections, 10 young designers and six commercial lines of clothing and footwear labels. The shows, taking place in Porto, were divided between the new CEIIA building (Centre for Excellence and Innovation in the Automobile Industry), the old Customs House (now a Congress Centre) and at the Tram Museum.

The organization of the show believes that “the 38th Portugal Fashion had a good balance between designer fashion, designs for the market and proposals from young designers”, which resulted in a good combination of the various aspects of fashion.

New collections for the cold seasons were under the spotlight with some of the most important fashion designers presenting their latest proposals. Carlos Gil, Fátima Lopes, Luís Buchinho, Luís Onofre, Miguel Vieira, Nuno Baltazar Katty Xiomara and Pedro Pedro, amongst others, were present at the most recent edition of the fashion show.

Once again, footwear brands have presented their collections during the collective show of the footwear industry. In this edition the brands Dkode, Fly London, JJ Heitor, J. Reinaldo, Nobrand and Ambitious were on the catwalk.
