The US-based footwear and accessories retailer announced a new campaign of its Shoe Lovers Care Leave Your Mark program. DSW associates nominated eight family-focused non-profit organizations for this campaign
The public is invited to learn more about the nominated organizations and vote online through ShoeLoversCare.com. Voting is now open until the 15th of August at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Participants are allowed to cast one unique vote daily. Supporters can also share their vote on Facebook and Twitter with #DSWShoeLoversCare.

Finalists will receive 5 000 US dollars and the organization with the most votes will receive a 75 000 US dollars donation.

Since 2013, 665 000 US dollars in grants have been donated to 47 of DSW Associates' favorite non-profit organizations through DSW's Shoe Lovers Care Leave Your Mark campaign.

"We are really excited for this year's Leave Your Mark Campaign! We have selected eight nonprofit organizations focused on providing assistance and critical family services for communities in need.  By supporting these organizations, we are sharing our Associates' passion with our 25 million Rewards members to celebrate families and help them bring joy to their lives," stated Jonica N. Armstrong, Community Relations Manager for DSW.

After reviewing the nominations, DSW has selected these following organizations: A Kid Again, Boys and Girls Club of America, Comfort Cases, Operation Homefront, The Arc of Loudoun at Paxton Campus, Providence House, The Jessie Rees Foundation, and The Trevor Project.
