Arklyz announces the acquisition of Gabor

The Swiss-based sports and lifestyle group is continuing to expand its portfolio into footwear, having recently announced the acquisition of Gabor. No financial details were released
Arklyz has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Gabor Shoes and all its operating subsidiaries. According to the statement, the deal positions both companies for accelerated and sustainable growth by combining the group’s multi-brand platform and international distribution expertise with the brand’s European heritage and loyal customer base.

Founded in 1949, Gabor has built a reputation for comfortable footwear by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques. The company’s shoes are sold in over 60 countries worldwide via retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels.
