100 Portuguese men wear high heels

Apr 17, 2015 Portugal

The initiative was part of a campaign named 100 Men Without Prejudice wanting to draw attention to gender equality

Portuguese magazine Máxima challenged 100 men to wear high heels on behalf of women's rights.

The challenge was accepted by athletes, doctors, models, entertainers and politicians who have joined this initiative to draw attention to the theme.

As part of the campaign all men who accepted the invite put on high heels shoes, designed by Footwear designer Luís Onofre, and were photographed.

The result is an exhibition of 100 portraits and a book to be published soon.
