Columbia Sportswear names new president for the Sorel brand
The US-based company announced that Cory Long will join Columbia in December as President of the Sorel brand. He succeeds Mark Nenow, who resigned in June for health reasons
Long joins Columbia and Sorel from DC Shoes, where he most recently served as Global General Manager and Chief Global Merchant of DC Shoes. Before that, he held several leadership positions at well-known brands such as Mitchell & Ness, Asics, Supra, and Converse.
“We are delighted to have Cory join the Sorel family. His strength of leadership and consumer-champion mindset will be key in fueling the next era of SOREL growth”, commented Craig Zanon, SVP of Emerging Brands.
Cory Long will step into his new role in December, succeeding Mark Nenow, who stepped down in June for health reasons. Craig Zanon has been leading the brand in the interim.
