Shoe Carnival names Kerry Jackson to lead New Business Development

The US-based footwear retailer has announced the return of industry veteran Kerry Jackson to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of New Business Development
Having spent 35 years at Shoe Carnival, including 27 years as Chief Financial Officer, Jackson is set to return to the company on the 9th of June, taking charge of New Business Development.
In this newly created role, he will spearhead the company’s merger and acquisition activities, the integration of acquired businesses, and initiatives to capture synergies, all of which form part of its strategic vision “to become the nation’s leading family footwear retailer”.
He will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Worden. “Kerry’s return is a tremendous asset for our growth strategy”, he said about the appointment.
“His deep institutional knowledge, combined with his proven financial acumen and strategic insight, makes him uniquely qualified to partner with me in driving our M&A initiatives. Kerry’s passion for building business ultimately brought him back to us, and we're fortunate to have his continued leadership as we expand our national footprint”, he concluded.
