RAP, for active kids
A brand born and raised in Portugal, but with a Danish touch which gives it a most distinguishable flair
Over the last 56 years ArautoRAP, commonly known as RAP, has established itself as a pioneer in a new generation of accessible quality footwear for children. RAP is represented in the US, Canada and several European countries, with a particular focus in the Scandinavian market.

6 generations of the same family have been working in the footwear industry, leading RAP to become one of the pioneers when it comes to environmentally friendly shoe production by using the best hides (from animals raised for human consumption), the most organic soles available and water based glue in the assembly of shoes. Most of the raw materials used come from local suppliers and the boxes used are made of recyclable carton.

All RAP products are manufactured in their factory in Portugal, following high quality standards, making RAP one of the brands with the lowest returns or quality claims percentage. Every single pair of shoes passes through several steps developed by numerous people, who make sure all details are taken care of.

A profound dedication to good design, high quality, and a focus on a continuous development of new ideas leads to a strong link between traditional craftsmanship and future aesthetics. The company is proud to offer the best products to all kids first steps, a proven recognition in recommendations by many Scandinavian hospitals and physiotherapist.
