Portuguese footwear industry represented at Modalisboa fashion show
While presenting several partnerships between footwear brands and Portuguese designers, the footwear industry will be at the most famous fashion show taking place in Lisbon
At Modalisboa 43rd edition, taking place between the 10th and 12th of October, the fashion world will have the opportunity to see the most recent output of Portuguese creativity. Renewed partnerships between footwear brands and the most talented Portuguese designers, and new projects, will present the new trends for Spring / Summer 2015.

The following partnershisps will be presented: Alexandra Moura x Goldmud, Dino Alves x J Reinaldo, Lidija Kolovrat x Eureka, Miguel Vieira x Evereste, Nuno Gama x Eureka, Pedro Pedro x Basilius, Ricardo Preto x Clay’s, Say My Name X Xperimental Shoes and Valentim Quaresma x Fly London.

The Modalisboa staff will be wearing shoes by Eureka.

Ensure that quality in production and creativity walk in together has been key to the growth of the domestic footwear industry. Successful brands recognize that fostering a creative language that reinforces identity and uniqueness in the market adds value to their product and distinguish them from direct competitors.

The Portuguese footwear industry exports over 95% of its production to 150 countries on five continents, the equivalent of 75 million pairs of shoes, worthing 1 800 million euros (in 2013 the industry reached an exports record high, going up 8% over the previous year).
